A vehicle service is carried out at a set time or once a set mileage has been covered. The service interval will be specified by the manufacturer.

- Under bonnet levels
- Steering and suspension check
- Tyre check
- Brake check
- Lights and bodywork check
Items that are not check during an M.O.T will be inspected during a service.
